About Us

Kilgore Landscape Center at Asphalt Materials is a locally owned company organized in 1975 offering hot and cold asphalt mixes. We have expanded into a Landscape Center and now offer even more products like mulch landscaping products, decorative landscaping rock, flag stone, landscaping soils, concrete U-carts, landscaping sand, ice melt salt, bulk road salt and more!

The original partnership comprised Harvey Hansen, Richard Erickson and Western Asphalt. In time, Western Asphalt sold out leaving the remaining two partners to continue on to the present. For over 40 years Asphalt Materials has provided Salt Lake and the Wasatch Front with quality products and services. The company is based out of West Jordan, Utah, where it operates an Asphalt Plant, an Asphalt and Concrete Recycling Plant, and a Salt Lake Landscape Center. Asphalt Materials also operates a remote gravel pit in Bluffdale, Utah featuring sand, gravel and topsoil. The company is privately owned and operated. Public welcome.
