  • Light Grey Salt & Pepper coloring
  • Compactable Pathway Material
  • Performs well around stepping stones, in paths, or as an accent.
  • Can be used in landscape applications, walking paths, around box gardens, etc.
  • Pairs well with other rock sizes and colors for water-wise landscaping.
  • Can be used as a top dressing material.
  • For best coverage spread 3″ deep.

Approximate Weight per cubic yard (loose): 2600 lbs (1.3 tons)

Depending on how tightly you compact it, compaction could require up to 20% – 30% more.

        This product must be placed at 2" depth MINIMUM.

        Common uses– Pathways, side yards areas, patio areas, etc.

        Common installation practices– Decomposed Granite is a Salt & Pepper colored DG. This is a 3/8” Minus compactable pathway material. It needs to be placed at 2” – 3″ depth MINIMUM. For best results install a heavy weed fabric prior to rock installation to reduce weed growth. Compact using a vibrating plate compactor.

        Please Note– We Recommend that Customers should come down and look at product in person before ordering. None of the products are “washed” but they are screened to size, and they could be dusty or contain some fines. Also this is natural rock and with that colors can fluctuate slightly as digging moves across the different veins in the mountain. Therefore even the same rock over time may have slightly different colors.
