Lets Talk Roadbase

• Recycled Commercial Road base – Commercial Roadbase 1 ½” minus is a subgrade compactable base material manufactured from recycled concrete, dirt, and asphalt. Commercial Roadbase is mainly used for under asphalt and Concrete, driveways, patios, pavers etc.

• Recycled State Spec Road base – State Spec Roadbase 1 ½” minus is a subgrade compactable base material manufactured from concrete and dirt. State Spec Roadbase is mainly used for under asphalt and Concrete, driveways, patios, pavers etc.

This Product must be placed at 3" depth minimum & compacted.

For best coverage spread and compact 3″ to 6″ deep compacting in 2″ – 3″ lifts

Approximate Weight per cubic yard (loose): 2600 lbs (1.3 tons)

Roadbase is created from recycled materials right here at Asphalt Materials Inc. in West Jordan, UT. 

When building a Paver patio, such as flagstone or Paver Blocks, you would use 3"-4" Roadbase folowed by a 1" layer of Paver sand, and then your pavers. 

When pouring a concrete pad you would use a 4"-6" layer of Roadbase followed by 1"-2" of either 3/4" construction gravel or 1" minus gravel to allow expansion of the concete, you would then pour your concrete on top.
