Member Spotlight: Asphalt Materials

UAPA CHARTER MEMBER

Asphalt Materials is a locally owned company which was organized in 1975 offering asphalt and landscaping materials.

For over 47 years Asphalt Materials has provided the Wasatch Front with quality products and services. The company is based out of West Jordan, Utah, where it operates an Asphalt Plant, an Asphalt and Concrete Recycling Plant, and a Landscape Center. Asphalt Materials also operates a remote gravel pit in Bluffdale featuring sand, gravel and topsoil. Dale Hansen, a UAPA Board Member and Original Charter Member of the Utah Asphalt Pavement Association, values his membership in UAPA because it provides a unified voice for the industry and assists in creating a forum to promote asphalt throughout the state.

Dale believes one of the challenges facing the industry in the coming years will be a lack of funding for municipalities and counties across the state. UAPA thanks Dale Hansen and Asphalt Materials for their continued support of the asphalt industry in Utah.
